First Day of Preschool
Yeah, I totally cried. I know...I'm a baby. But come on, this is my first time too!
Here she is showing off her new backpack we got just for school because "she is SOOOO big!".
This is when I dropped her off at preschool. She did a great job not being scared or shy. I was the one who had to be shooed away by the teacher. We are excited to have our little girl growing up into such a cute one.

Olympic Addicts

Of course we have our favorites...
Swimming...those were some intense swims; how anyone can go that fast is beyond me.
Beach volleyball...kicked butt last night and won the GOLD!!!!!
Track...we have a very passionate track fan in our family so there is no way we miss these events.
Gymnastics...I think USA totally got ripped off on the their scores, but that's just me...and Cody agrees. Those girls are amazing though.
I'm not sure what we are going to do on Monday when there are no more Olympics to watch!

Happy Birthday Anna!!!
She wanted a cake with purple and white frosting and while we were singing Happy Birthday to her, she blew the candles out after the first line in the song! We couldn't even finish singing the song because Cody and I were laughing so hard. We were not expecting her to do that, but she had been waiting all day for us to sing to her.
This is Anna when she was one year old. It still amazes me how much they change from year to year. She is a such sweet little girl and a wonderful big sister. We are so lucky to have her in our family.

King's Peak - 13,528 ft

Here he is on the summit of Gunsight peak (13,263 ft, 8th highest in Utah).
This is a shot from Gunsight Peak, looking towards Kings Peak.
This is a shot looking up to all the peaks they hiked too (Gunsight Peak to the left and Kings to the far right).
Flat-top Mountain
The scout troop and leaders who all went...

Summit of South Kings Peak (13,512 feet, 2nd highest peak in Utah)
In between their hikes, they had a hatchet throwing contest..
Summit of Gilbert Peak (13,442 ft 3rd highest in Utah)
I'm just glad to say everyone came home safe and happy. They had a lot of fun and they all enjoyed the experience of climbing to the 3 highest points in Utah. They even made it home on Friday night which was a surprise because they planned on coming home Saturday afternoon. I don't think Anna could have made one more day without her daddy. We are definitely glad he's home without any injuries.

Random Pictures
Jake found a way to climb into the cabinet, after he had removed all the pots and pans out of it, but then he couldn't find way back down, so he sat there making this grunting noise that he does until I got him out.
Yeah, I'm way cool cause I have Dad's sunglasses!
Anna was quite the helper getting Dad ready for his week long scout camp trip up to Kings Peak this week. I asked Cody if he could somehow strap Anna onto his pack and take her with him! She can't weigh that much!
Cody and wrestling his kids...this is a favorite weekend thing they do together. Jake especially loves rough housing with his daddy. I just stay out of the way and take the pictures.
Anna was pretending to be a ballerina at the time so she was putting on her own little concert for me.
Horse rides with Dad are always the best!
I just realized that they are both facing backwards! Whats funny about this is Jake would hold on to Cody so tight that his little hands were white, Anna on the other hand, would not hold on so she kept falling off, which would make Jake run to his dad and get back on! We will definitely miss our daddy this week!
